Alice's Cabin is situated on an idyllic brook in North River, in the pristine wilderness of the Adirondack Mountains. Activities on your door-step include:
- Cross-country and downhill skiing;
- Hiking, canoeing, and hunting;
- Fishing, swimming and whitewater rafting;
- Mountain-biking and horse-riding.
Restaurants and shopping are available in nearby North Creek, and bustling Lake George is only 30 minutes away. Lake Placid and Montreal are a few hours north and Saratoga just an hour south.

- Exit 23 on Northway to Route 9
- Drive north two miles on Route 9
- Bear left at fork on to Route 28
- Drive 21 miles on Route 28 to North River
- Turn left on Barton Mines Road
- Cross the railroad tracks
- Immediate left into driveway
